“Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks of us.” – “Ben Stein’s Confession”
The great thing about having an active blog is that it not only forces you to ponder what is worth saying to others and what is simply trivial to yourself is that it provokes comment. I have been looking at what appears to be a boilerplate piece by the media philosopher and sometimes keeper of the popular keys of modern broadcast media intellectualism, Ben Stein. And I am trying to get a proper an angle on it? Does it reflect a further enhancement of the thoughts put forth in my own humble offering? Or is it a form of censure to correct some mistaken notions of my own that I have just now read and re-read?
Either way is it’s a valid point of view up to the point that it invokes the terrible term ‘WE’. Consensus above and beyond standards of generally universal moral behavior seem currently very frayed at the edges at this point in history. The recent arrival on these shores of the distinct probability of a ‘false flag’ and the matter of the nation’s bank accounts being summarily emptied completely pose the question of ‘who’ specifically is culpable, both directly and as accessories to the fact. Personally, I think that this larger national culture that I have grown old in is in the last stages of a longterm well-executed plan of assault of all its fundamental institutions. The pillars of stability that I in particular was raised with, flawed as they may be, are falling down around my ears and very few seem able to hear their thud. I can see the names stamped upon the ‘broken rifles’ of this countries’ enemies carelessly abandoned in haste by these phantom insurgents as they darted back into the shadows at the conclusion of their last attack. And conversely I am totally appalled by how the process of Hollywood’s affect over the last century have turned several generations into nothing more than babbling ‘useful idiots’. How can one not be totally appalled by that well-planned cycle of confusion of a repetitive ‘crisis mode’ too often offered up afresh? It seems all too apparent in these last few moments before the strike of twelve that all here face the loss of what was once considered logic and reason?
What bridles me most harshly to no end is to see the ‘official’ voices of reason apparently blurted forth publicly by members of the same tribe coming to the podium once again under their well used ‘white flag’ of victimhood. Sporting if nothing else a level of professional ignorance that has apparently been so integral to this nation’s now imminent defeat. Humanity as an organized species has a long memory and predilection historically for revenge. The dust of history is fertilized by such forces. Perhaps this is the cyclical game that I refer to in my original post? That unstoppable juggernaut that once more grinds humanity into raw meat upon its ceaselessly turning wheel!
