So what makes the world seem so absurd? The unreasonable demands of others? Events within daily existence haphazardly shuffled? The big ‘WE’ are told that everyone, heros and villains alike, thinks that there own insanity is quite rational and perfectly in keeping with what they believe is right in the universe at large. Hence, the term rationalization!
Yet, rationing and rationality are two distant but distinct cousins. Or, are they?? At any given point, one can only stand so much of another. That is what our current repression obsessed society seems to offer for the dilemma of socialization. Anything that ends up too far West of conventionality must by definition be absurd or unreasonable. Especially is a world where every doorway lintel is held up by two diametrically opposite posts. Boaz and Jachim, Ordung und Gewühl. The most inviting entrance can always be found halfway between these two man-made extremes.
Oddly enough animals boring into natural substances like dirt invariably create a rounded fissure to climb through while man made materials inevitably are formed in a squared rectangular one. Square peg in the round hole, or vice versa if you will. Something seems profoundly interesting, does it not, in this nonsensical observation. It is the essence of inherent logic that so often drives one mad if they take the time to see it out to its final calculation. So let’s fully compute Pi together until the Sun burns out!
I guess that’s why old American cultural models favored the gunslinger? It was over much more quickly! After all, as Alexander could tell you, you can do more to an annoying big knot with a sharp sword than with a dull brain.
