OK, I have been trying to keep my mouth shut about hot button topics and the daily flash fire of political wrangles and the resultant ‘Uber Global Culture‘ fostered disaster events which in the end play out like common melodramas. I’ve kept my mouth shut and for a few days at a time even left the television turned off. Forget about what I think for a moment. Considering that I am just turned sixty-four and having no state sanctified Nobel prize or Pulitzer endowment to bank on, my though congealed wording, “Don’t mean sheeit!” But then there is the matter of everyday common sense and intuition that by default operates in spite of the latest tweet inspired headlines. It is unsettling that if you get on a bus or any other form of public transportation that involves physically waiting in public the same phenomena occurs. All attention is directed down at the flashing little bug nestled in one’s favored palm. It make me wonder if the reason for the Federal government handing out free phones as part of the welfare package that it is looked on a device to keep the peace in such public situations. I guess that makes anyone not engaging in the same activity in those situations a possible suspect plotting some form of potential aggression?
Yet for those of us who have been accused of being old enough to tread along beside ‘ole honest Abe’ Lincoln as he walked those many miles to school through dinosaur infested country, let me also quip it seems that the strategies of modern mass mind control as envisioned by former nut case obsessed types like Freud, Seuss and Skinner are the current preferred medium of social congress. The routine seems to involve layering of presentations of staged events fostering absurd polar divisions and then employing a cadre of professional avatars to pose as equally divided members of the unwashed masses to lead the discussion in the Internet corollary of blog style journalism. The term for this type of state directed mental activity of mass education is now referred to as being asynchronous. The proper definition in non-judgmental politically correct lingo being that people are allowed to direct their own train of thought in terms of opinions and education. But I have to counter from direct experience in the formal implementation of this sort of system of information transference that those bereft of a formal education are being left in a swamp of half truths and deliberate misinformation their intellectual possibilities left off to the subsequent vagaries, expected to die.
Those statements about the importance of marking trends based upon previous history about specific groups and individuals DOES SIGNIFY a starting point for determining the source of the chaos. And without any ability to discern classic patterns and time honored strategies the general population as a whole remains left out all alone in the meadow to ‘baaaa’ out their collective discontent in the midst of the darkness of night. Rather than complain about the service issues encountered in terms of the effectiveness of modern instruments of their enslavement, you would think that they might be scheming how to get back control of their own work product and wealth which now by the tort of law rests in the hands of a foreign elite pulling the strings of government? Street savvy and real intelligence used to be focused upon the ability of the mind to instantaneously count urban coin and not concern itself with feeling insecure at not arriving at the proper street ‘patou’ for the coming day. Maybe if the common folk decided to drop all those little palm devices in the trash barrel and go back to fending for themselves on the street in direct physical conversation with their fellows like granddad did, the best part of that so called greatest generation might come back embodied in contemporary common sense to save the day?
